Never stop πŸ›‘

In 2 Samuel 21, the Bible names relatives of Goliath who showed up to fight David and his men. David was in his old age at this point, but he was still in battle. Just as Ishbi-Benob (Goliath’s relative) was about to strike David, Abishai (one of David’s men) swooped in and killed the giant, saving David’s life. All four of Goliath’s giant relatives were eventually killed by David’s men long after David had defeated Goliath. David never stopped preparing for the giants. Just as he had 5 stones that were probably meant for each of Goliath’s brothers the first time, David made sure to raise men who could fight giants whenever they returned. As pastors, ministry leaders, never forget to raise men who can fight the giants you slayed before. Those giants have brothers. As Jesus said: the unclean spirit when he leaves, goes and brings 7 more that are much more wicked than himself.
