is our prayer in Jesus name I noticed yesterday we went overboard today I want to redeem that time God willing God willing so that we are done by quarter 7 our message today is titled I know what what I'm doing I know what I'm doing our key text is Galatians chapter 6 verse 9 Galatians chapter 6 verse 9 Galatians 6 verse 9 the word of the Lord says and let us not grow weary while doing good let us not get tired for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose hat let us not grow weary while doing good for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose her means there's no giving up we are in a Do or Die Warfare I do or die Warfare you must be willing to go the full distance we are not going at some point and say I'm tired and throw in the towel it's do or die if you grow weary the truth is you will not reap so you must fight to the end permit me to say that for the devil to defeat you he creates a consistent cycle in your life and for you to break that cycle you must also create a consistent pattern of prayer so there's a consistent cycle in your life that can only be broken by a consistent pattern of Prayer in your life as a matter of fact the word of the Lord says we must pray without seasoning that means that prayer should not be occasional prayer should not be a matter of convenience in your life when you feel you hit so hard then you want to engage in prayer or you want to pray when you feel like today I am strong I can pray prayer should be a lifestyle it is said of Enoch that he walked with God how many years 300 years Enoch walked with God 300 years for 300 years he had been seeking purity of Soul moments spent in prayer with God translate to Consecration and ultimately purity of the soul and so he'd been seeking purity of soul that he might be in harmony with heaven and I imagine Enoch could wake up any morning and say God is there still anything left in me that needs cleansing because my aim is to be perfect just like you are perfect allow me say when we pray do not let your prayer make you be more interested with the gifts of God than the giver himself this 10 days we are not here for answers per se as much as we are here to build an intimate relationship with God because God is not your spanner boy who should respond promptly to each of your whims your wants your thoughts when you want it do not let your prayers make you be more interested with the gifts of God than with the giver himself so let your prayers make you be in harmony with Heaven day by day Enoch had longed for a closer Union nearer and nearer had grown the coming with Abel I received a call and they're saying they in kitali this girl says they're in kitali they're running a crusade by children so I think it's children Ministry running the Crusade so there are many children coming to the Crusade and then she says uh this evening she didn't go but I think a child was possessed and when Elders were told to go and pray for her Elders said no we can't they were scared they said let's pray for her from here let's just pray for her from here God will see her how to to handle it among the elders that went that were there is her father so her father came back in the evening to the house and told her you know one of your guests looks like he's sick she said what do you mean said this is how she's behaving but I can give you her mom's number you call and find out so she talked to the mother and the way the mother was talking she quickly could tell this must be demon Poss but you see there's no one willing to go and what and pray there's no one willing to go and pray Elders have already prayed for her from a distance and they believe she will get well I know you can pray from a distance and and people get well but when you choose to pray from a distance because you're scared then that's a different thing a distance where you can go let's pray for her from here so she's telling me Pastor I have never encountered this and I said because this thing is in my hand let me call some WhatsApp groups where I am and ask people to pray with me even as I go you know your first time experience so she went she said she started praying and she became hostile the child was becoming hostile you know doing some funny signs and she could hear know the voices people talk you know and she kept saying I am not afraid she she could feel the fear inside but she's determined she's not going she's praying so she tells me I've prayed for 2 hours and then I left because I was not seeing any breakthrough so I've called the mother again she has told me she fell again so I called a friend of mine I said look for pastor Mur I said don't look for me when people are being so she called me I said okay fine I'm headed to go and preach let me see you in the in the evening I don't know why I'm bringing that story but I felt how people are so helpless but there's no one to do it to help so helpless but there's no one to help so we got into a discussion with Abel and Abel is asking me Pastor by the way what do you normally do so I was explaining but I told him it's difficult when you pray for such people and leave them within an environment where there's no pray prayer because that moment when we are praying there's a difference between exorcism and deliverance exorcism is that one moment you're praying and demons leave but that person needs a walk with God for complete and total healing it's not just demons possessing that person it is demons ravaging the life of this person in every form and in every way so when we pray and you are in kital and we come back and leave you there in within which environment have we left this child is it an environment of people that pray so that they can continue in the warmth and environment of prayer or it is within an environment that no one is praying the Bible says when demons leave a house they go to dry places is it seeking where they can rest when he does not find he comes back to visit where he was thrown out to see if the Christ that was called there is still there or it was just a one minute Christ and when he finds it's not there when he finds the prayers that were done are still not being continued because there's no one praying so he understands the power that pulled him out of hair so he can't come alone he brings seven more other wicked demons and the state of the person is now worse than before and so you have to create a consistent prayer PDN to be able to break that cycle that is why when I started day one I said you want a job do you know what is holding it and do you know what you can do to release it and when God releases it to you do you know how you'll keep it because the devil will come to steal it again are you able to protect it will you continue with this cycle of prayers that we have begun this 10 days or it will end you'll wait for again 10 days of prayer 2025 will this be your lifestyle did we undo our hair just for the seven days of fasting or this will become your lifestyle are you setting aside funny dressing that does not glorify God just for these seven days or this will become your lifestyle because that pattern must be maintained until Christ comes we are we belong to a different Kingdom we have dual citizenship on Earth and in heaven I would tell people if you think you are redeemed then you need to start acting and looking like you're redeemed H we now need to start acting and looking like we belong to the kingdom of what of heaven and so don't get me wrong when I say salvation is free but Deliverance comes with the cost and the cost is consecration which calls for assistance a steady pursuit of what is being undertaken we are not ready to break it at some point and give up it has to be a lifestyle persistence persistence with God does not mean he has not heard your prayer praying without ceasing does not mean God has not heard your prayer he has heard your prayer very well and he knows what he is doing I'll use Jeremiah 21 is a text I've preached from several times but the Bible never grows old Jeremiah 29 Jeremiah 29 Israel is in captivity in Babylon and I know you love vers 11 so today allow me just unpack it so that we arrive at verse 11 with understanding is it yes Israel is in captivity and when they arrive in Babylon their life stops their life stops because they know Yahweh they have heard stories about him and they have heard how Mighty his hand is to deliver they know this is the god that delivered their forefathers from Egypt and crossed with them the Red Sea crossed with them Jordan so they know the god they serve so when they're taken to captivity to learn lessons that they would otherwise have learned at home when they at ease but now they have to learn those lessons in adversity so they get to Babylon and life stops and what is their conviction that this Our God we know cannot let some other gods take us to captivity and let us stay stay here so they knew God was coming to their rescue anytime soon so they refused to settle but there's something they couldn't understand even with that with that conviction because the way the temple was built there was the outer court is it and then there was the Holy Place huh and then there was the most holy only the high priest was allowed into the holy of holies and even the holy place only priests were allowed there you remember a high priest wouldn't go to the holy of holies without consecrating his life is it yes he couldn't without sanctification you'd get in the presence of God you die and because no one was sure whether you Sanctified yourself or not a priest would go in there with a chain tied on his uncle and then the chain goes up to outside the temple as people are agonizing with the Lord because you don't know what God's response would be as the priest go if he overstayed they would Shake That chain if the priest shook his leg it meant he was still a alive if he didn't shake his leg it means he went in without sanctification and he died and because there was no one else allowed in you drag him out using what the chain so what Israel couldn't understand is how a hean nation came to Jerusalem go went into the temple packed articles of the temple and none of them died and they went with all those articles to where to Babylon they're still wondering if us who are Israel and you're not a priest and you went in you died how how could hean come go in take God's things go with them to Babylon and none of them did what that it meant either your God is defeated or your God is dead it only meant those two things it's either Yahweh has been defeated or Yahweh is dead so they say they could not sing by the rivers of what B how do you want to sing to this God who has allowed heathan people to walk into his Temple that on ordinary circumstances when we walk in we die but the hean walked in and came out with his things alive how do we want to sing they say by the Rivers of they sat in Babylon life has stopped because they in captivity and they believe God is coming to their rescue anytime soon and so Jeremiah sends them a letter learn to read that chapter from verse one don't be reading verse 11 also when you sit in a mat and there's no Pumpers for the night you say anyway I know the plans I have for you you will still you will still continue without di pass have you whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem to Babylon hey praise the Lord so who took them to Babylon the devil God took them to Babylon and he used he used the hand of their oppressor to take them to Babylon the history of Israel was they would rise and then they would get into apostasy and fall and then repent that was The Motif and it's still The Motif in the whole Bible and it's still The Motif in the life of any Humanity that there's a point we rise and then we apostatize and then we fall and then we repent again that was the history of Israel and many times the Lord used hidden Nations to rebuke them so God is saying the one you're waiting to come to deliver you is the one that has taken you there the one who's caused you to go there and then he tells them build houses uhuh five build houses and dwell in them plant Gardens and eat their fruit yeah God is saying you have arrived there live like that is your your new home build houses dwell plant Gardens eat the Lord is speaking about progress that when you are in adversity the Lord expects you will progress amen and then the question would be how does adversity Spar progress the Lord is saying it doesn't matter what circumstance you are in for a child of God whatever circumstance you're in how terrible it is he does not expect your life to stop he expects you'll continue to progress and that's why day one I said if you have a marital problem it shouldn't impact on your performance at work if you are a child of God you have so much peace that you continue with Warfare in your house but you also still performing at your workplace because God expects you will progress and then Jehovah spoke to them in verse 6 he says take wives and beget sons and daughters so if you went there single take a woman marry have children and then he say after you've had that children that is your generation too is it and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands so that they may bear Sons and Daughters generation three so you went single you gave birth and you will be there to see your grand children are you coming back to Jerusalem anytime soon huh are you coming back anytime soon no and why is he telling them that he's telling them that um that you may be increased there and not diminished Am midest pro I mean am midest adversity the Lord expects you will not only progress but you will prosper I know it is tough but is a Do or Die battle I'm fighting but I must progress I'm fighting I must Prosper I tell women whose husbands have been taken by strange women he's left you because for me marriage is like a car Safari rally there's no Safari rally car without a Cod driver is it there's always the driver and the Cod driver what is the work of the Cod driver navigation and in the event the driver will get tired he will drive the car to the finish line so the Cod driver is as good as a driver you can't take a Cod driver who doesn't know how to drive and I'm talking to women who have those husbands have cars literal cars learn to drive you never know anything can happen one day the driver might even get sick in the middle of the night you start calling neighbors honorably yeah I know your PhD does not allow you that and your salary doesn't so the Lord expect that amidst adversity we shall not only progress but we shall also prosper and then it tells them and seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive and pray to the Lord for it for in its peace you will have peace and adversity the Lord expects you will progress the Lord literally mad or I would be disoriented in Life or I would be dead by today my experience was so robust that what it gave birth to was this ministry and today when you speak to me I understand you because I've gone through it and when you speak to me I feel like you haven't gone through anything yet the times I look at you and say why are you crying [Music] and then it says verse 8 for thus says the Lord of hosts the god of Israel do not let your prophets and your diviners who are in your midst deceive you nor listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed for they prophesy falsely to you in my name I have not sent them says the Lord H verse 10 I'm almost getting to your favorite verse verse 10 for thus says the Lord after 70 what yes are completed at Babylon I will visit you and perform my good word toward you and cause you to return to this place so I'm not coming tomorrow I'm not coming next week I'm not coming next month not even next year not even a decade not one not two 3 four five decades not even six decades after seven decades so you know in the land of captivity is not a life of ease is difficult is it so God expects that they will persevere because perseverance has the element of pain you get it 70 years has the element of time so the Lord expects they'll be patient so in adversity the Lord expects you not only progress you will not only Prosper you will not only be at peace you will not only be patient but you must also pass her Fe so persistence doesn't mean that God has not had persistent would mean 70 years but God will still come through for you because he know knows what he's doing you don't tell him what to do so your favorite verse now he says four I know now when a statement starts with four it is in light with the preceding statements in light of this understanding that you must now settle there for 70 years is when I will come I want you to know that I know the thoughts that I think toward you in other words what God is saying I know what I am doing says the Lord the thoughts of Peace are not evil to give you a future and a hope and the Lord is saying you want something good your captivity in Babylon is part of the good thoughts I have for you for peace and the future you hope for does it make sense your captivity in Babylon that one that one that you don't want that one that captivity is part of my thoughts it's part of my plan is actually the real plan for the peace you want so don't tell me what to do I know what I'm doing in the meantime I expect you will progress I expect you will prosper I expect you will be peaceful I expect you will be patient I expect you will persevere elsewhere in the New Testament Paul reos the same thing in Romans chapter 8:28 he says for all things work together for good to them that love the Lord and are the called according to his what purpose you see this which you're lamenting you w answered in 10 days is part of God's plan to give you that future that you want stick through it persist in prayer God does not stereotype his workings in our lives is that my phone no God does not stereotype his workings in our lives so that how he came through for Elizabeth is the same way he should come through for for you mine would have been 20 or so years yours can be 30 so when you see God come through for your neighbor you don't stop crying that God me it's taken too long has is taken too short why are you not seeing me if you see God in your neighbor's house it means he's in the neighborhood the next door he's knocking could be yours so we purpose to persist we are going the full distance we are moving forward until we get to our destination is a Do or Die battle it is my prayer children of God as we T in his presence no one is throwing in the tower we shall persist with this lifestyle we have begun till Christ comes to take us home if we never get what we want in this life if we never if we never because the Bible says our forefathers looked forward to a kingdom that they died without doing what seeing whose Foundation the Builder and maker is who God they preached they preached the second coming of Christ it's as if they would they would leave to see it but they died without seeing it we shall continue to worship Our God we shall continue to pray even if we don't see our answers we choose to stick through with God because when he comes ultimately life would be bigger I'm better am don't try to create a good life down here a good life with another man there's no good life with another man or another woman if it doesn't work just Hal it there wait for the coming of the Lord this marriage thing is so tough so tough that if marriage one doesn't work I don't know where you get the strength to Contract Marriage to so tough let us learn to look at things in light of Eternity what God has to offer in the new Earth and the new heaven cannot be compared to the things we are chasing in this world and so I will persist with my God no matter what it takes if I don't see my answer today job says I know my redeemer liveth and he shall stand at last and in this flesh that has boils I shall see him and no one shall see him for me he says I will see see myself may the Lord bless us in Jesus name amen trust and Obey is our song As We rise when we walk with the Lord in the light of his what what a glory he sheds on our way while we do his good work will he abides with us still and with all who will trust TR and Obey trust and Obey there's no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and Obey trust him he's in full
